An Opinion On “H”
Much of H-P's current dilemma stems from having to answer to investors. It had no big problem with its customers until it began to announce changes to its strategies driven by investor concerns. Now it has the worst of all possible worlds: it has disgruntled investors and jittery customers.

Opinion On “Father Theodore M. Hesburgh: A Setback for Educational Civil Rights”
Don't you just hate the way Martin Luther King jr. was always dropping names, Father Hesburgh? Anyway, if you imagine for one minute that the Democrat leadership in Congress gives a fig for actual children, African-American or other ethnicity, then you are living in a dream careers world. The Democrats are trying to destroy the American dream before any more African-American children who Read More...
Analysis On “Recruiters Favor State Colleges & Universities for Job Hiring”
I thought this might be a good time and place to reflect upon what critical thinking skills thinking is. Note how arrogance can hinder the process. From Wiki:
The dispositional dimension of critical thinking is characterological. Its focus is in developing the habitual intention to be truth-seeking, open-minded, systematic, analytical, inquisitive, confident in reasoning, and prudent in Read More...
Opinion On “Top Earners May Face Big Hit”
Its a unfair world. Capitalism and Democracy are not for wimps. If the rich do not want how to handle stress pay our tax rates they can fly over to the EU countries and learn a new language.

My Analysis On “McDonald’s Says It May Drop Health Plan”
The first plutarchy has made a demand of the US citizenry.
Perhaps we should put the plutarch in it's place.
how can this be interpreted as anything other than a private business attempting to countermand the US gov't.
They don't run the show folks, we do.

My View On “U.S. Car Business in Major Shift”
Maybe sales incentives levels aren't up to the levels they were before the recession, but its quite an overstatement to say there hasn't been a sales spike compared to the past 2 years. Buick has sold 57% more cars in 2010 than it did in the previous year. While all the reported profits aren't realized yet, they are a sign that the domestic auto industry is heading in the right direction. Read More...

Analysis On “Obama Travels To Fire Up Young Voters”
Using an Executive order would be at best a temporary solution. New presidents spend the first 90 days or so reversing the Executive orders of the old president that he doesn't like. So in 2016, a new republican president could simply reverse Obama's hr executive order and Gays would be back to square one. It's better to get the law overturned which should happen pretty soon as two federal Read More...
Thoughts On “Jeff Immelt and Ken Chenault: How We’re Meeting the Job Creation Challenge”
Theodore,
The reason Medicare's administrative costs per claim are much higher than those in the private sector is that Medicare does not have the resources or mission to contain fraud and signs of emotional abuse. Private insurers do. So as we go to a government-owned and run health insurance system, look for fraud and abuse in the health insurance markets to rise to where they are in Read More...
